My script that my Voki says in Chinese is:

Hello!
My name is Sarah.
I am 12 years old.
I have 4 people in my family.
In my family, there is my mum, my dad, my little brother and me.
I have 1 little brother.
My brother’s name is James, he his 9 years old.
My mum’s name is Kym, she is 48 years old.
My dad’s name is Nishan, he is 54 years old.
I don’t have any pets.

This term, we started with learning some Pinyin. We covered radicals, strokes and tone marks. We then started to work on Birthdays, how to introduce yourself and how to tell people your age. After we did this, we then learnt a bit about measure words and when to use them in a sentence. There are different measure words for each different context in a sentence. For example you would use 口(kǒu) for telling people how many family members you have and you would use 个(gè) for how many siblings you have. There are many different measure words for different things however the formula is Number + Measure Word + Noun.
