Key take away from RACbstreetsmart excursion:
At the RACbstreetsmart excursion the biggest
things we learnt was the dangers of being distracted while driving, especially
by technology and that an accident can happen to anyone.
Advice to younger drivers:
One piece of advice I would pass on to young drivers
above all else is that not to be on your phone while driving as anyone can end
up in an accident. As we only may think people like us won’t end up and die in
accidents that stuff like that only happens in movies however anyone’s life can
end in split seconds.
Pledge:
‘I, Sayuri Cherise Taaffe, pledge to never
drink drive, look at my phone, always wear a seat belt and be aware of my
surroundings when I drive.’
I picked these things to commit to as it will
help to keep me and those around me safer on the road.
