This term in science, we have learned about earthquakes; how they are formed, how they affect us, and how we design structures to withstand them. We were tasked to build a structure specifically out of spaghetti and blu-tac, it had to be 60cm tall, with a budget of $60, $1 for 10cm of spaghetti, and $1 for a gram of blu-tac. I demonstrated the capability of responsibility by trying not to snap spaghetti and taking care of the equipment that I used throughout the project. By thinking of designs for my tower, I demonstrated innovation and creativity. Through the struggle of spaghetti breaks and having to think on the spot, I improved my resilience. Next time when doing this project, I would plan more carefully, as this would help to build a better first design and help me improve it. This is a video explaining the process I followed:
