Letter to me

Dear me,

So far, the best part of my learning experience this year has been music, maths and French. Even though the French teacher game me a 0% for something I didn’t do I did really well in French and become arguably one of the best in the class. In music I had many gigs this year and my music got better. Even though it was a rough start my maths started to get pretty good this year. I could’ve done better in test this year especially if I studied a bit more.

The best part of music this year was the 2 bands that I was in. I got to meet so many new people. I also learnt so many new skills and skills and I performed in more gigs than I ever had in a year. My music really progressed in the small span of a year and I am now able to do things on guitar that I would not think that I would be able to do this year.

This is my favourite picture from this year:

This is probably my favourite picture from this year (it’s of Eli (left) and Lachlan Bruce (right) and it’s actually from today).

If I had to give some advice to someone who was starting out year 8 it would be: “Don’t leave work until the last minute. Start on it when you were given it and spread the work out so that you’re not doing all of it on the last few days. This way it will feel like you’re doing less work and you’ll get more time to change things and edit the task or revise for the test.
