Wayne’s World 5

Inclusivity, Stability, cool stuff, government, sustainable energy are vital to a livable city like Plantopia. Wayne’s World 5 is a world full of 12 unique cities and a world bank. This amazing place is an infinite world of survival where you are either rich or poor.

THE VERY START

Before anyone could even start Minecraft, we had to learn about everything a livable city needs. 6W learnt all about energy, stability, government and history. We even visited the WA parliament house. 6W also learnt about energy sources and everything a city would need. At the start, we underestimated how much a city needs to work. For our whole learning journey, use the link below to view a website I made a few months ago. https://spark.adobe.com/page/d7O9CG4dbuMA9/

PLANTOPIA

Plantopia is one of the top cities in Wanye’s world 5. The city was rated 9.5 out of ten, the second-highest livability rating. Plantopia focuses on having a fun, inclusive lifestyle. We have homes of all shapes and sizes for different families, and even a restaurant where food is free. We welcome anyone into our city and have disabled access to all our places. Plantopia was founded by me and is co-owned by me and Teagan.

CURRENCY/WEALTH

WW5 currency is red tulips. Mr Wong chose red tulips based on the tulip mania. Tulipmania was a time in the 1600s where the dutch used tulips to pay for things. Back to WW5; Using red tulips, all 12 cities can purchase items from the world bank, trade, and expand their wealth. The world bank contains all the resources possible. Cities can use red tulips to buy them. Trading is also popular with tulips. Cities pay each other in tulips for resources. Plantopia made a trade with Sporty city – 64 tulips for 24 lapis lazuli. You can also make tulip farms with bonemeal. Making Tulip farms is a way to grow your wealth. Another way to use tulips is to make cool stuff. Purchasing resources to make cool stuff is another way to expand your cities popularity. Plantopia right now has 7 stacks of tulips in the Plantopia bank.

COOL STUFF

In Plantopia, we may not have as much money as other cities, such as MAS, but we do have cool stuff. ‘Cool Stuff’ is a big part of a city. Cool stuff attracts visitors and possible citizens. Think of a place you loved going to. There was probably tons of cool stuff there. Cool stuff can be different things for different people. For one person, cool stuff could be a library or a meditation centre. For another person, cool stuff could be Disneyland or a water park. Plantopia has lots of cool stuff. We have a waterslide, a rollercoaster, a beach with a cafe, a free restaurant and many more.

PARLIAMENT AND STABILITY

Having a stable parliament is the most vital thing in a city. When you choose holiday locations and possible living locations, the government is one of the first things you would review. If a state/country didn’t have a stable government, crime would happen, and the place would be unsafe. Plantopia has a very stable government with three houses. House of Reps, House of power and Senate are the three houses in Plantopia’s Parliament. Plantopia is a country, so we only have the federal government.

Each city has to have these seven things or they will be taxed 10% of their money per day!

SURVIVAL

Wayne’s World 5 is now in survival, so we have to mine and collect our resources. Survival mode makes us work hard to be the best city. Survival means we need things like hospitals, dams, farming and energy sources. Survival also means we have to buy resources from the world bank. We also need a food source, or we can starve to death. Hunting for resources like diamond, iron & magma is not easy. We have to mine in caves to get iron and diamond. Armour is an important thing as well because we can use it to mine quicker and protect ourselves.

This video shows what you can do with wood and how you can expand your city.

INCLUSIVITY

Inclusivity is a no-negotiable part of a place. Everyone should feel welcome where ever they are. An example of inclusiveness would be having different churches, or having a sports stadium, and a library. No one is the same, we all like different things. Plantopia has a swim centre and a small cafe, much different things. “the people of Plantopia agree to make Plantopia a welcoming city that welcomes anyone no matter what their religion or culture may be” – Plantopia Constitution

Our Parliament house design also shows inclusiveness because it shows happiness and the Aboriginal colours

Here’s a quick video with a photo or two of each city.
