Recently in maths, we were given a project, the only guidelines being that we have to use statistics to look at a topic and its relation to sustainability. Myself and my partner, Amberley decided to look at the impact of gender on sustainability.

We decided that we would present our research on a PowerPoint, and use and use statistics to prove a series of claims that we made (around 10). We also used a variety of statistics to prove our claims, from government websites, google searches, research articles, and real studies done on different genders.

We felt that this was an important topic to study as climate change is a serious issue that needs to be dealt with, and myself and my partner personally feel that gender inequality could lead to a decreased, or increased awareness of sustainability/ action against climate change.
