$20 Boss

Products

My $20 Boss group created homemade lip scrubs and bath bombs. We had 4 different scents for both products. Lavender, jasmine, rose and lemon. My group consisted of Anya, Jinning and Emelia. We sold our products at the Market along with many other stalls.

Design Thinking Process

We first empathised with people that can’t afford good-quality bath bombs and lip scrubs. Then we researched and prototyped different recipes. Once we decide on a recipe we create them in bulk. Then we sold them at the market.

Capabilities

Collaboration – Being a part of a group and sharing the workload evenly. Working in a group improved my collaboration.

Creativity- Creating and designing a new and innovative product and business. Creating lip scrubs and bath bombs.

Organisation- Organising my group and keeping track of how much we need to achieve each innovate ed lesson.

Our Market Experience

We did not sell out of our products. I think we didn’t do great in the market due to the fact that there were not many customers and a lot of different stalls. Our set-up was very good but we did not attract as many customers as we thought. We also only made about $20 in profit which was not ideal.
