My Learning – Life Skills

My favourite subjects in school right now are cooking and science. I enjoy these subjects because cooking is fun and I find science interesting. I am currently in the stage of school where all subjects are compulsory so I don’t get to choose. This means I am just doing the normal MESH subjects plus cooking and French. I do not know what subjects I want to do next year as I am still finding out which ones I like and dislike. I have found that having a positive attitude, asking questions and paying attention in class proves to be very helpful and could help me improve my grades. My favourite way to study right now is using palm cards. Palm cards work for me because they are very useful because it means I can study individually and have repetition while learning. Something that you can learn at school that doesn’t involve the classroom are social skills and communication. It is easier to learn about your individual hobbies when you are not at school as there is more freedom at home. 3 important lessons that I have learnt in my life are to always respect others, always be kind and to be honest. After school I think I want to go straight to University, but I am not 100% sure.

The subjects that I have chosen for year 11 and 12 are: English ATAR, Psychology ATAR, Biology ATAR, Mathematics Apps, Economics ATAR and Geography ATAR. I chose these courses because they are the ones I am most interested in and psychology is the subject that I am most excited for as it is something I am curious about.
