What is the project you have been working on? What are the success criteria for the competition (i.e. how will your video be assessed)?
The project was about creating a scientific video about anything that changes. For this project, we decided that we were going to do our video on Volcanic change and use many demonstrations and recordings to create this. We made sure our information was simple, easy to read and understandable for people of all ages. Overall it was really funny and I learned a lot over the course of this process.
How did you organise your group? Did each person have specific roles? Did each person have the opportunity to contribute their ideas? How would you improve your work in this aspect if you had another opportunity to repeat the project?
We got to choose our groups and we decided that because we all were interested in the same things it would be a good idea to go together. In the end, I went with Chloe, Emelia and Safeera. We all got to contribute our ideas and do the things we all liked and it worked really well as I and Chloe wanted to do a demonstration whilst Emelia wanted to record. I think we should have planned the demonstrations a little better as we did them at the end of the project.
Did your group have any disagreements? What strategies did you use to resolve these conflicts? How would you improve your work in this aspect if you had another opportunity to repeat the project?
Throughout the project, we consistently worked together as a team, and I think that we delivered a great video. I don’t think that we had any disagreements, and it was amazing because of this. We really tried hard to create this video and enjoyed the process a lot.
How did your group manage your time? Did you finish the project on time? How would you improve your work in this aspect if you had another opportunity to repeat the project?
We ended up completing the project on time and I think we did really well. I also enjoyed it so much and I wouldn’t repeat or improve it because we just did so well. We managed our time well and tried really hard to create a video that influenced or taught people things by watching.
