In the cake task we had the opportunity to make and design our own celebration cakes. My partner was Amber and we made a chocolate and gold marble cake.
In the cake making process I was in charge of piping on the rosettes and we both contributed with the icing and the final decorations. Overall it took us about 5 periods to finish the cake. Amber and I invited our friend Sophie and the event was a great success. Everyone enjoyed out cakes and enjoyed the event. Overall about 90 people came, including students and teachers. The event was help in the CPA foyer. We had drinks and samples of every cake that was made.
Next time Amber and I may be able to make the cake more efficiently and neater as this was our first time making a professional cake.
