This term in InnovatED we worked on a global goal and I chose to work on goal 14 which is life underwater. We were managed by Mr Colman and Ms Winter and we split into 3 different groups, researching, marketing and action. I chose to be in the marketing team as I had some ideas from the start. Our job was to spread awareness through the college community. I helped this process as I was helping create a website where all our progress was and is stored. We were a small sub-section of the marketing team which was classed as digital marketing. We were communicating with the other groups up until the week of the beach cleanup. The whole life underwater group walked to a nearby river and cleaned it up. I was in a trio with Elliot and Lachy and we found quite a bit and filled up a bag to the top.
Overall I found this process quite engaging and I enjoyed getting out of the classroom to help the environment and seeing how much process we had made throughout the term.
