Share and Communicate:

  1. Representation of the project: provide a brief summary of the project (maximum 100 words)

We had to create an earthquake-resistant building with spaghetti and blue tack. We used real life examples such as the Yokohama landmark tower to create a structure that would survive a simulated earthquake.

  1. Overview of the engineering process: provide a brief overview of the engineering process.  What changes would you make to the process that would improve the outcomes for your group in the future? (maximum 200 words)

The engineering process involves a systematic approach to designing, building, testing, and optimizing solutions to create an earthquake-resistant structure.  To enhance outcomes for my group in the future, I would emphasize a few key changes. Including, keeping each other’s mind open so that we can all collaborate to solve problems.  By refining these aspects of the engineering process, my group can achieve more effective and innovative outcomes in our projects.

Teamwork and collaboration:

  1. Collaboration: Provide a brief summary of the investigation components that each of your group members was responsible for.  Comment on how the strengths of each group member contributed to the engineering challenge. (100 words)
