The process we went through to create this production

We had a long process for the production, first thing we did is that we made a basic idea about what we did, after that we got chat.gpt to create the script, chat.gpt made a basic draft which we had to make some fixes to. This took about a week. After that we did storyboarding which only took a day to complete. We quickly got the props and costumes ready and started filming. This was the longest process as it took a few weeks. We did the elevator scenes first and then we did the outside scenes and finally we wrapped up with the lobby scenes and the balcony parachuting scenes. The last thing we did was editing and VFX. We sorted through all the footage and put sound effects, music and visual effects all through the project to make it better. We put all this together and finished the project. Overall, the entire process took 6 weeks, but it was worth it to produce this project.

How we came up with the original idea

The original idea was from Aedan and Dylan. The idea was to make the interrogation in an elevator. This was because it will feel like the escalator is isolated from the rest of the world, it also made it feel claustrophobic which worked to our advantage. This was because it made the interrogation feel intense because there was no escape for the person being interrogated. The idea of jumping off the balcony was also good since it made it feel more intense for the viewer.

3 obstacles/challenges we faced while we created the process

During production, we faced several obstacles and challenges. These could have been easily fixed, but they affected our production greatly. Firstly, an issue was that we didn’t edit the script until mid-shooting. This was a challenge because we also had to add this to our strict time schedule. The second obstacle related to this as well being the strict time schedule. This made it so we didn’t have much time to do other challenges we stumbled across including editing the script. Finally, our third issue was constant reshooting. This was because we kept losing the footage by either misplacing it or it being corrupted. Overall, we had a lot of obstacles in these productions which could have been fixed easier if we had a better timetable, because of this we had multiple challenges in the production.

What we would do next time

There were a lot of things we could have improved upon and/or done differently next time. First thing we would do next time is that we would make sure we manage our time better, we kept reshooting just to be careful this made it so that we lost a lot of editing time. We also would make sure our clips were saved. We had to do multiple reshoots because of us losing these clips. Finally, we also made sure the script was finished with no errors. We had to change a lot of lines mid shooting making it, so we lost some more time. Overall, we had multiple things we needed to do differently and improve next time.
