After four incredible performances, The Addams Family production has sadly come to a close. Over 3 months of rehearsal and over 100 hours spent together culminated into an amazing show that left many of us crying at how quickly it had finished.

After last years production had been cancelled due to COVID related reasons, we were all very excited when it was announced that the 2023 production would be The Addams Family. Auditions were nerve-wracking as always and then it felt like such a long wait for the cast list to be released.

Next came the rehearsals, they were seemingly endless and it was very tiring after a while but the cast encouraged one another and found ways to keep spirits up. The costumes, props and set were absolutely amazing and it was so much fun taking the scenes and dances onto the stage and into the space. Having a live band is always great for a performance and it was really cool seeing students and professionals working together. Before we knew it, tech week had arrived and opening night was fast approaching.

Every single performance was amazing and this production was an unforgettable experience. The cast found a family within each other and we made so many memories that will last a lifetime.
