About Me

Hi I’m Ruthie! I am a Year 11 student at All Saints’ College and this is just a little about me.

Some of the most important things in my life are my family and friends, my service and my education and these things are what have impacted and created my most prominent values. Reliability and dedication are two things that I always strive to show, whether that is through my commitment to everything I do or just being someone who people know they can trust and talk to. Service is a massive part of my life and it has shaped me and my values into who I am today. It has taught me a lot about communication and being selfless but also about the different kinds of leadership and the ability to work well as a team. My time at the College has already been incredible and it’s not even over yet. I have been offered so many opportunities in several different areas of interests which has allowed me to meet many high-achieving people in their professions, inspiring me to the same level of achievement.

I play a lot of music and love performing with my band and the school choirs. I also love drama and being on stage is always such an incredible experience. My favourite performances have to be Mamma Mia and the Addams Family because of the positive energy that was in the cast and the audience every single night.

I love to cook and bake, and my family and friends love this just as much, as they get to eat whatever I make. I play and umpire netball and have been with my club for almost seven years now. My team changes every year, and it is always fun meeting new people and forming new friendships.

I also love to read and enjoy finding new books in genres I haven’t read yet. My mum is the one who inspired my love of reading and we both share a love for the classics such as Pride & Prejudice or Little Women. However, my comfort genre will always be fantasy as I have a very creative mind and love bringing those incredible worlds to life.
