In Week 9 of Term 3, the action team in the ‘Life Under the Water’ group had achieved their goal. I was apart of that group to help organize the river clean up that took place on the last week of InnovatED. We did end up achieving our goal but it definitely could have been completed to a higher level. We didn’t manage to go to a beach commonly used by the public because of many reasons, so I think the outcome of rubbish wasn’t as high as it could have been. It took a lot longer to decide on how the clean up would run, for example: where it will take place. Quite recently we decided on what we do with the plastic that we collected but this will have to be finished through this term. I think we did organize the river clean up as well as we could in the time we had. Maybe we could have been more prepared earlier on so we would have more time to come up with a good idea for the use of the rubbish sooner to complete it with in the term. Our group still achieved our main goal.
