Illuminate (Media)
- Describe the process you went through to create your production. The process I went through to create my group’s productions was first making the script and then creating a storyboard. We then had to follow the storyboard and throughout the milling process, we had to change some of our scenes and ideas. This is due to people not being present and people away sick so there were a lot of scenes we have to change. After we have finished all the filming, we then had to edit and make it look professional. We then submitted it to the teacher, it was time to present it in the Illuminate.
- How did you come up with the original idea? Our original idea was about how the boys would go to an abounded place and search for ghosts and strange things. We came up with that idea because we think it would make it very interesting and plus nobody would ever think of doing that for the project. We also came up with that idea because it would be interesting to film and watch. We did not know if it is impossible to finish in time but we did so that is all it matters.
- Describe three obstacles or challenges that you encountered when creating your production. The first obstacle that we encountered was the shaking and the sound of the roller for the camera. Whenever we use it, you can hear the holler and it just destroys the film. The second problem that we have encountered is people being away. Most films need everybody so if one person is away, then we can’t film that scene. The third obstacle was the due date. Since people have been away, it made it even worse since we have a due date.
- What would you do differently next time? I would choose a different idea next time. I would also make the film simpler so we can get it done faster. I would also choose other people that won’t be away a lot. I think it would increase the rate of production better.
- Describe the final presentation. What do you think it means and represents? The final presentation is when it is in the Illuminate. Our film was not shown so I would say if it was shown then ours would be one of the better ones since you can understand it. I also think it represents the cooperation of our group. This can also mean that we might stand out more.
