Collaboration to me means working effectively and efficiently and treating each other with kindness and respect. I also believe that being open to new ideas is really important, especially when working with people you aren’t super familiar with.

Learner agency to me is taking responsibility for your learning, and being resilient when something doesn’t go your way. It also means you are independent and know how to take control of your learning.

We had to demonstrate this learning when we did our current affairs project and had to work hard to get our videos to a satisfying standard. I remember coming together as a group and discussing what parts each person was doing. This was vital for our performance as we needed to be concise. This was a perfect example of collaboration. When we were filming we had to be patient and take responsibility for our learning. I wanted to make sure our group was on task and knew what our end goal in mind was.
