Ceramics Reflection

Throughout the semester we did a lot of activities that involved creative thinking and other things. The first project we did or the first thing we learned about ceramics was the history. we learned about what clay is and the discovery of clay, we also learned about what clay is used for and the different types of clay and things like that. After we learned about the history and things like that we learned how to make slab pots and the piercing techniques used to stick the clay together. once we had created all of our pots we glazed each of our pots to how we liked them, you could use a matt glaze or a gloss glaze, each gave a different effect on the pot. Ceramics this semester has been fun and i have enjoyed it, i’m not the most creative person out there but i have tried to be creative with each of my pots and i have thoroughly enjoyed it.

things that worked for me was the pinch pots, they were pretty easy do make, because you just pinch the pot to the shape you want or like. The
