Singing is a large part of my life and in 2023 I have already really grown with my technique and also my performing skills. I have had so many opportunities this year such as singing at the Government House Ball Room and even performing my first solo in front of the college. This year I have been working on my skills in both my private singing lessons and also in Music specialist and both of these classes have helped me to improve at a very fast rate.

Having the opportunity to sing at such a venue (The Government House Ball Room) is an Amazing experience and I would jump at the opportunity if ever offered it again.

The Fremantle Eisteddfod is a music competition that you can enter, It is an annual event and I have previously entered it back in 2019 but had not since due to Covid 19. I signed up this year and i competed in both musical theater and also classical music sections. I tried very hard and worked on the songs day and night and I am proud of what I achieved. I got first place in the musical Theater section under 15’s and I came third place in the classical section. Both of these achievement are ones that I am very proud of. After winning I was invited to sing with a select few of very talented musician at the Government House Ball Room. The experience was lovely I learnt to just embrace my singing and not over think it allowing me to conquer my nerves for the first time while singing ever. I was half way through my song when I noticed that I was not scared and I was enjoying myself. This made me happy as I had never felt that sense of enjoyment while performing it felt like I was giving a gift to the audience.
