$20 BOSS REFLECTION

$20 Boss was an amazing opportunity for students in year 8 to make and produce products and sell them. It was a chance for them to have a mini business and maybe even branch out further to the school’s shop Runway.

My team consists of Shama Isla and Jess K. But if you go back to the start of $20 boss it was hard. I had started off in a group with two other girls and we were making decorated notebooks but we ended up losing interest so we split and we got three new girls and we continued the idea. Then one girl left and another one joined then they decided to make a jewellery business and I split and ended up being with shama, Isla and jess K. We had many mishaps along the way. Our group kept on getting cut off from the teacher because we apparently didnt have enough time to complete the stages to get it done.

We choose our business name to be Spring Scents because we wanted to have a simplistic name because when you sell candles you dont want to have a busy candle we have made our logo very minimalistic. The research to support our candle making ideas is that our group has been talking to students and asking them what they think about our product and how much we should sell for and the sizes etc.

Our team is working on candles and our group we have split the load depending on what needs to be done but our group is a little behind on the making process for the showcase. But our group has been working well together even though sometimes we get distracted and dont spend all our time wisely.
