As part of the Stirling House Council we hosted a bake sale to raise money for one of the colleges service partners, Beyond Blue. Beyond Blue works in partnership with health services, schools, workplaces, universities, media and community organisations, as well as people living with anxiety and depression, their friends and family, to raise community awareness of anxiety and depression and reduce associated stigma.

The day was a success, in the end our profit was $583, which I believe was a tremendous effort. Although the bake sale wasn’t the only thing we had to offer, there was also a stress ball making station and a positive message wall, where people could write kind comments dedicated to what they are thankful for.
