Orienteering Day Trip

At the end of term 3 we went on our orienteering day trip to Jorgenson National Park. We split into our groups and used teamwork to work out the bearings and distances to each of the points before we set off. After we started we found the first couple of points we had trouble finding the next few. We used our problem solving to try going in different directions and found it after that.

Snorkelling

At the start of term 4 during our double periods we went snorkelling at Coogee beach. Something that we learnt was that if you didn’t have a wetsuit you would get really cold but people that didn’t have a wetsuit had to use resilience to keep going in the freezing cold water. Collaboration was also a key aspect of snorkelling when we had to keep with our buddies to stay safe
