This year our basketball team had a very successful season and we only lost 1 or 2 games. When we got to the semi-finals some of our teammates were nervous so I went over to them and cheered them up by it is no different to any other game and I also said we have not lost to them. When we were warming up I was leading the team in it. When we finish the warm-up. I volunteer to sit on the bench at the start so that I was ready to go on when the coach told me to.
We had a good start it was 17-12. When I went on I was playing point guard so I was calling the plays and taking the ball up the court. When I brought the ball up I passed it to one of my teammates near the 3 point line and he shot it and it went in. On defence, I was playing more of a small forward. I was guarding a taller person than normal. I got subbed off just before the half-finished because my coach wanted me to start the second half to support my teammates and help them when needed.
At the end of the half, we were up by 10 points, it was 22 to 32. I went on with the guy that was nervous at the start and he told me he was still nervous and I said to him we just need to keep a leed. A few minutes in they caught up a bit it was now 30 to 34 they kept us from scoring much. I got subbed off at 3 minutes left and sat out the rest of the game but we ended up winning the game by 5 points.
