All Saints College holds an annual dance concert so the students with a dance passion can have an opportunity to showcase their talents. It is a very intense Dancing experience as the level is insane. All the older girls are role models for me they have so much dedication and commitment which inspires me to try hard which is why I auditioned and made the cut!

I participated in three dances, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip hop! Usually, I don’t do all theses styles but I wanted to put myself out there! I was initially extremely nervous because of the only girls in that group were in year nine and above, but eventually, I talked to them and made friends. Often during rehearsals, we would hang out and practice choreography! Now that I have put myself out there I now walk across the Common and wave to some new friends.

As much as I love working independently and expressing my thoughts, I love to dance so much because as much as it is great fun, it also comes with a crew! It comes with a bunch of people who already share one interest that you do to! I enjoy working with other people because being apart of something makes me motivated to do the best I possibly can.  I feel as if I play a role in something great which was my three group dances.  And this experience made me realize that I love collaborating, and dancing! This production was amazing and full of talent, but my favourite part was honestly rehearsing and collaborating with new people! Learning about their points and perspectives! Even if it was their thoughts about a couple of new dance moves I loved working with a team.
