My first Fundraiser! It was so successful!

Last term my InnovetED group and Ms Parker with the help of a few Year 12s and Year 7s we held a very successful bake sale and a Documentary Screening. For “Indigenous Voice and Recognition” And I was the main part of the organisation and logistics of this campaign. We held a very successful campaign. We did a bake sale and a documentary screening. But this took a lot of work because we had to get permission from a lot of people, and a lot of food for the sale and tables and people to help run the stalls and we needed to spread the word!

I sent a lot of e-mails to year 12s who can help in baking and we made almost 500 dollars. And if you were at the bake sale would know that it was incredibly popular, much better supported than we anticipated. We sold out in about 30mins! And it was great to see everything be sold and many thanks to the year 12s and a couple of my friends who weren’t apart of the group but helped to sell and bake.

After the bake sale, the documentary screening! And we had 50 people attend which was amazing!  It was an informative movie all about our cause and purpose to spread awareness for Indigenous People voice and how it matters.

I am in absolute happiness that it went as well as I did! because after weeks of Preparation we held an amazing event! my group of seven students and Ms parker pulled it off! And I am proud of myself that all my organising and management pulled through!
