Over the last semester, I met multiple targets during art. Some of these targets included learning about Dutch Still Life art, finishing a drawing based on Dutch Still Life and doing a painting of an apple.
I also learnt multiple skills throughout the semester such as blending, shading, stippling and more. With the drawing, at first, I used a lot of time in class to experiment blending colours and other things so I could do better in my artwork. With painting, at first I painted the apple in with its separate parts with different colours and no blending. I then incorporated the blending into the apple afterwards.
While doing the drawing segment, I realised I was spending too much time on experimenting with the colours, so in the end i had to focus to use my little time remaining as efficiently as possible.
In the end, I managed to create multiple artworks though drawing and painting skills.
