Good role model- Malala Yusufzai

My good role model is Malala Yusufzai. I chose her because she stood up for what she believed in. In January of 2011 when Malala was just 11 years old her town in the Swat Valley was taken over by the Taliban. Many things were banned including girls going to school. In October of 2012, Malala was on the way home from school when a masked person boarded her bus and shot Malala on the left side of her head. She was in a coma for 10 days and woke in a hospital in Birmingham, England to find that many people around the world were praying for her recovery. I think that Malala is a good role model to many people because it shows people that if you really love something then you should stand up for what you truly love.

Bad Role Model- Kanye West

I chose Kanye West as my bad role model because he has done multiple bad things over the years starting from 2009 and even in recent times. Kanye has crashed Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech and told everyone that he thinks Beyonce should have deserved it instead. Even calling the president bad words because he didn’t like him. He has even shown the world about threats after Pete Davidson has gotten with Kim Kardashian and Kanye threatened to hurt Pete. Therefore I think that Kanye is a bad role model because he has shown young kids that you can swear and threaten to hurt people, especially someone like him who has lots of followers and has high power status he is a bad role model to young kids.
