Outline any progress for the SDG.

According to this report on the Sustainable Development Goals, there has been some progress regarding eradicating poverty, but little when it comes to ending hunger. Access to safe, nutritious food has decreased. On the other hand, good health and well-being have seen dramatic improvement, although we’re still having trouble with the epidemic of malaria. Goals 4, 5, and 6 have made little progress, while Goal 8 (promote sustained and inclusive economic growth) has significantly decreased. Which is probably due to COVID 19. The rest of the global goals have limited to no progress, which is worrisome, particularly for Goal 13 (climate action), where on average, 1 in 6 countries has data available. With COVID 19 the challenge of implementing the SDGs has been extremely difficult and has had negative impacts for all the countries around the world.

As a co-ed school, Goals 4 and 5 (quality education and gender equality) are linked very closely together and greatly influence this school, even if we don’t notice it. Reduced inequality is also a big part of All Saints, with the indigenous scholarship helping those families in need and giving them an opportunity they wouldn’t normally have.
