During our study on World War 1, we were able to research and further develop our knowledge on a particular aspect of the war. Kat and I chose to research the home front during the war. The video below shows our exploration and use of sources to help the viewers to understand our that in the home front many people wanted to join the war, however many also didn’t; that women had many opportunities to take on the vacant roles and jobs that were male dominated in that time; and that rationing became part of people’s normal lives in the home front.
