Hi, I’m Kerry Cao and currently in Year 11 at All Saints’ College. Welcome to my portfolio, this is where I will record my journey throughout Senior School.
I came to All Saints’ in Term 2 of Kindergarten, and that’s where my learning here officially started. I have developed many hobbies since then, and the main categories of my interests are STEM, music, art and fitness.
Through experiencing many of the joys and challenges in life, my personality has been shaped to be optimistic, friendly and resilient. I really value respect, empathy, ambition, perseverance and trustworthiness, and I do my best to uphold these values in my everyday life through my decisions and actions.
I focus on the things that are important to me and I really care about. My friends and family are a major part of my life, and I really cherish the time I spend with them. Self growth is also something that is really important to me – I love trying new things and gaining new skills.
This year, I am currently involved in the Catalyst (Service and Enterprise) Leadership Team, Robotics Club, Symphony Orchestra, Guarneri Strings Ensemble, and Crocheting & Knitting for the Homeless. I am also practising taekwondo at United Martial Arts and Fitness Academy. As for my job, I am working as a Tech Coach at the College’s ICT Help Desk.
My hopes for the future are to explore more of the world, and gain new insights. I look forward to gaining more valuable experiences, and learning from them to become a stronger and wiser version of my current self.
