volunteered at the disabled surfing event this year and it was a very enjoyable experience that I am planning to do again this year and in the following years. Although it was cold and windy, it was worth it for the smiling faces I saw from the surfers when they successfully stood up on the surfboard. The way that I helped was that the volunteers would line up in columns and the surfers would go through us. we had to be ready to catch them if they fell and push them along. It was really nice to see how happy they were after they did it.
