Singing at RAAFA

On the 4th September (Wednesday) I sang with our choir (The Minor Details) at RAAFA. It was a ceremony to commemorate those who fought in war. We sang Australian songs to the residents, along with the Celtic band and brass ensemble. Some songs were the Australian National Anthem, You are my Sunshine, Home Among the Gum Trees, I am Australian, I Know I’ll Never Find Another You and Waltzing Matilda.

After the ceremony, we had morning tea. (sausage rolls, ANZAC cookies and carrot cake) We explored the museum, and were very interested in the planes that were on display. It was an amazing experience, full of music.
