Our group researched how we can reduce the obesity level in Australia.
Obesity is caused by many different factors, and the cost to treat the health issues that come with obesity is high.
Maths can help analyse data and make predictions or draw conclusions to help with this project.
We have decided on three things that the government needs to change:
- More money should be invested in sport
- A tax should be placed on unhealthy food
- The government should support agriculture and farming of fresh produce more.
Attached is a PowerPoint which basically sums up our research, which was also our presentation. An excel spreadsheet is also attached, and it’s where we have collected and analysed the data.
